It's actually pretty funny when you stop and think about it. Imagine, atheists willing to take time to actually write about it. Now that's funny.

My reply...

Huhuh, I don't buy it.

If you watch other videos by Cameron and Comfort, you'd see they deliver their "serious" messages in exactly the same way.

Sure, it's always easy to change positions after the fact and say, "I was only joking." But in this case, I don't buy it.

They just didn't realize how stupid they'd come off until after they did it and called it "a bit of fun", I believe. Do you really think a diehard believer like Cameron would openly mock god on such a serious subject as salvation? I don't. It's not their style. Plus, they are mocking god-belief by doing that, and that they wouldn't do!

Just read evidences used for God in previous generations, like debates on snowflakes in the first half of the 20th century, and references to "proofs" of God, based on our having two eyes, ears, and nostrils as evidence of "design"! This was how people used to think. Cameron, being rather deluded with his heavenly euphoric emotions, just didn't realize his ridiculousness in time to save face.

(JH)Joe E.
