Seems more like what...I don't really like the post. Seems more like what a Christian would write. This whole innocent (as if that is a quality to appreciate) baby thing... too Christian. And that fact of Balinese culture... again thinking Mother Earth is dirty and God is good... yeah right! Look, people can imagine anything they want but reality just doesn't work that way. Babies are not "pure" and "innocent". They just are.
Not everyone links Christmas (The Winter Solstice) with the Child, or with children in general. I don't. Before, when i was "innocent"(naive, or simply not educated) I didn't know what to link it to.
Sorry, I don't want to be mean, but I really dislike the post.Just us - Just mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08533449773903491222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21219785.post-87323567333001305782008-12-18T15:40:00.000-05:002008-12-18T15:40:00.000-05:00Good thoughts.Good thoughts.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21219785.post-304130724432932452008-12-18T05:01:00.000-05:002008-12-18T05:01:00.000-05:00Thank you, Marlene, for another wonderful post. I...Thank you, Marlene, for another wonderful post. I will be thinking about this celebration of the child in us this holiday season.

Side note: here in Austria, it is traditionally the Christkind, the Christ Child, who brings the presents, and interestingly enough, the Christkind is usually depicted as being a girl. Nowadays, as you might imagine, the Christ Child is getting a lot of competition from Father Christmas aka Santa Claus.zilchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01695741977946935771noreply@blogger.com
