Dave Schmelzer, a former atheist who now pastors a large church in the shadow of Harvard and MIT, and myself, a former pastor who, according to the show's producers, is now "one of atheism’s top 'apologists,'" discuss the influence of our experience, thinking, and the evidence as our paths took opposite directions. Dave speaks from his book, Not the Religious Type, and John from his, Why I Became an Atheist.
