His excellent book is The Necessity of Secularism: Why God Can't Tell Us What to Do.
I encourage everyone, both believers and non-believers, to get it and read it. I wrote a blurb for it along with several others. I said: "If this book doesn't convince readers of the necessity for a secular public square, as opposed to a sacred public square, then nothing can. Important and exceptionally argued!" I meant this. Get his book. Pass the word around. There's nothing quite like it on the market today by an important thinker and leader in the secular community.
