Hitchens raises a few decent points, if a bit obvious. The Design types have decided to read evolution in religious terms--a bit of a stretch, given extinction, poor adaptation, etc. Not to say the obvious problem with equating the God of the bible with some Designer who brings plagues into existence (the usual believer--see the fools on Reppert's site--shrugs off the POE, but still rather relevant). The historical points also important.

WL Craig has a certain rhetorical force-- a bit Rotary club-ish--, and he presented the first cause argument and fine tuning schtick effectively. However his insistence that atheists, skeptics, doubters have the burden of disproving theism itself a typical sunday schooler deception (Hitchens might have mentioned like Russell on the tea pot analogy).
