Debate with Jerry McDonald: Round Two
Round two is now complete. Jerry’s second affirmative and my second rebuttal have been posted, and both statements are divided into two parts (because of their length). I'm curious to know what people think.

The basic problem that Jerry has is he really has no idea how to conduct a debate in logic. That he is pulling out his old logic textbook from college is evidence enough of this. Clearly he thought he could cite a dozen scripture passages and you would concede. Ironically, you have precluded the appeal to scripture by an appeal to logic. It is unfortunate that he is such a weak opponent, it would be a better debate to have an opponent who actually understood what you are doing. I would guess you are a little disappointed.
It is my hope that after this debate is over, the Christians who know what they're doing will want to take me up on this topic.
People can also read the ongoing debate here, which might be easier: http://www.challenge2.org/coverres.pdf
Jerry's third affirmative is up: http://www.challenge2.org/mcd3rdaffres.pdf
